To me QMC is my family. I do for family what I can. When someone is feeling down I ask what’s wrong. When I see them struggling I jump in and help. When they call me for back up I’ll be the first one there. When someone is fucking up I’ll say something. Family should come first and our passion for cars and our love for each other is what I hope brings us all together.

As for me with my passion for motor vehicles started when I was young enough to crawl. My aunt bought me a die cast dune buggy. My favorite toy at the time. I always had cars or dump trucks to play with.

So when I was about five after learning how to ride a bike my parents bought me and my brother a four wheeler and I learned how to ride and couldn’t wait to go ride every chance I got of course things would break and since I didn’t have money I would have to fix things myself. So then after people finding out I did my own work. All of my parents friends brought their cars to me for oil changes and tuneups.

I always wanted a muscle car. I knew I could never afford one. But when I was 23 my ex wife bought a 1966 Chevy C10 my dream truck. I had always wanted one and I finally got it. I couldn’t thank her enough at that time in my life. An all of my family helped buy the parts I had wanted for it. At that time I had joined Quarter Mile Club. I was always hanging out at a friends house and Chris Tubbs would always stop by when I was there and we would give each other shit about our brand of car and so he asked me if I wanted to join the club and so I asked what it was about and what was expected and said I’m in.

I was so proud when I was driving it around especially when I was with our club. I turned down countless offers for my truck even a blank check. It was Irreplaceable to me. So when a drunk driver hit me after rebuilding it the first night I took it out I was hurt and heart broken.

It took me several years to try and get over it and find something else. I took what I could save of my running gear and installed it in a s10 truck but had to abandon the project at the time. So I waited a few more years and bought my 91 s10 blazer which most people around my area know now. It has been through three different motors for different reasons and on the third transmission now . It’s currently got a 5.3 lm7 out of a 2004 Tahoe with a th350 backing it and a welded up 3.08 rear gear. I’m getting ready to try and boost it this winter but I’ll see how things go.
